Go along to the museum and be inspired\, or simply enjoy the art. There are traditional landscapes\, alongside abstract art\, portraits\, textiles and sculptures. \nFor some visitors this could be a fantastic opportunity to purchase an original piece of art for yourself or someone special. You can also vote for your favourite piece of artwork in the People’s Choice Award\, with the winning artist receiving a prize.

SUMMARY:Junction Goole Arting Classes: Metal Embossing
DESCRIPTION:Arting is Junction Goole’s relaxed and sociable series of adult art classes and\, for 2026\, these sessions will have a ‘Goole 200’ theme. \nTwo two-hour sessions take place on each date – one at 3pm and one at 6pm. All materials\, as well as light refreshments and a finished piece to take home\, are provided. \nOn Friday 17 April\, the sessions are on metal embossing and those who attend will learn how to emboss intricate designs directly onto metal sheets and foil\, drawing inspiration from the Vikings who once travelled the River Ouse.
