SUMMARY:Goole Riverbank Challenge 10K
DESCRIPTION:Organised by local running club Goole Viking Striders\, the Riverbank Challenge is one of the area’s most popular and well-established races. It’s a chip-timed 10k along the banks of the River Ouse\, with a quick blast through the village of Hook thrown in. Setting off from Goole Rugby Club on Westfield Lane\, the race follows a flat and scenic route. \nA special race T-shirt is being created featuring a bicentenary-themed design\, and there will be a bespoke bicentenary-themed medal for those who complete the run. \nThis year’s race will take place as part of a busy programme of community events and activities planned to mark Goole’s 200th anniversary weekend.
