DESCRIPTION:Following the success of the Goole Bicentenary Coat of Arms community art project\, Goole Museum is hosting a new monthly art group called Artful Goole. \nLed by local artist Janet Porter\, the group’s first project is to create a large fabric backdrop of Goole based on a painting by another local artist\, Harold Mason. The finished artwork will be used as a backdrop for Janet’s Dockside Folk Dance Group. \nThe group is free to attend and open to everyone. No experience is necessary\, it’s about socialising\, having fun and creating something attractive and useful. \nThe group will meet at Goole Museum on the third Wednesday of every month\, from 1.15pm. \nFor further information\, please telephone or text Janet on 07939 032224 or email janetporter789@gmail.com.
