Bicentenary Open Art Exhibition launch

Head to Goole Museum for the launch of this year’s Bicentenary Open Art Exhibition.

As part of Goole’s 200th birthday celebrations, this year’s Open Art Exhibition has a special bicentenary theme and features a section of artwork dedicated to celebrating different aspects of the town’s heritage and culture.

Alongside this, there are exhibits inspired by an array of different subjects and created using a wide variety of mediums, from oil and watercolour paintings to ceramics, sculptures, textiles, glassware and digital art, all created by local artists.  

The launch event is an opportunity to view an array of artistic talent, and a chance to buy artwork for yourself or a loved one.

Also, if you spot a piece of art that you feel stands out from the rest, you can cast your vote for it in the People’s Choice Award.

Many art lovers will be in attendance, and everyone will be able to enjoy light refreshments and share ideas and inspirations.
