Service and blessing at the Cenotaph

On Saturday morning (18 July) at 10.45am, a service and blessing will take place in Bartholomew Gardens off Boothferry Road, where the Cenotaph is located.
The service commemorates almost 100 years of work by the Royal British Legion’s Goole & Howden Branch, which annually raises funds for the Poppy Appeal and arranges the Armistice Parades.
As part of the service, a new memorial stone will be laid in Batholomew Gardens. Everyone is welcome to attend.
