Goole Bicentenary Timeline Exhibition (second showing)

July 13 - July 20
FREE

Exploring 200 years of history, the Bicentenary Timeline exhibition tells Goole’s story from its official opening as a company town and dock in 1826 to the present day.

Made up of 21 display boards and featuring an image and fact for every one of Goole’s 200 years, this exhibition has been organised by Goole Civic Society and the Goole 2026 Bicentenary Group.

This is a second opportunity to view this fascinating exhibition, which was first shown at locations across the town in late May and early June.

Between 13 and 20 July, all 21 exhibition boards will be on display together for the first time, in the Workshop Room at Junction Goole, which is open on the following dates/times:

  • Monday 13 July: 12 noon to 2pm.
  • Tuesday 14 July: 12 noon to 2pm.
